Softball Recap: Madison Walker Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Kalama

Woodland won the last time they faced Kalama and things went their way on Friday too. The Beavers never let the Chinooks get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The Beavers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by six runs or more this season.

Madison Walker was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Brynn Skelton, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Woodland hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive matchups.

Woodland's record is now 14-7. As for Kalama, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6.

As of now, neither Woodland nor the Chinooks have any future games scheduled.
