Recap: Bonanza Bengals vs. Eldorado Sundevils
The Bonanza Bengals can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Eldorado 62-33 at home. Bonanza's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Eldorado lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Elisa Flores, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sara Torrico Lopez, who scored 12 points.
Bonanza's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Eldorado, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonanza will take on Somerset Academy Losee at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Eldorado won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Southeast Career Tech at 5:00 p.m. on January 10th. Hopefully Southeast Career Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Tuesday.
