Softball Recap: Salome Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mountainside on Friday, Salome came back down to earth. The Frogs took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ash Fork/Seligman Spartans on Tuesday.

Salome's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Ash Fork/Seligman, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.

Coming up, Salome will square off against Desert Heights Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Yote have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.36 runs per game on average), something the Frogs will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Ash Fork/Seligman, they will venture away from home to face off against Kingman at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
