Baseball Recap: Foothill Falcons vs. Bear Creek Bruins
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Foothill). Everything went their way against the Bear Creek Bruins on Saturday as Foothill made off with a 16-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Take Sato-Kreis looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in May of 2024.
At the plate, Foothill got a massive performance out of Aiden Tavares, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, six RBI, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Tavares hit this season. Another player making a difference was George Schmitt, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
