Erie-Prophetstown had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Orion Chargers by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Chargers on their court since September 29, 2021.

While Erie-Prophetstown won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Erie-Prophetstown will host Bureau Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Orion, they will be playing at home against Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
