Warhill won the last time they faced Poquoson and things went their way on Friday too. The Warhill Lions walked away with a 50-42 win over the Poquoson Islanders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Warhill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jayden McLean, who posted 11 points. Kristopher McDonough Ii was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Warhill's record is now 12-8. As for Poquoson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Grafton the next time they take the court. Poquoson will host Grafton at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Warhill will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
