Volleyball Preview: Orofino Maniacs vs. St. Maries Lumberjacks
The Orofino Maniacs will head out on the road to take on the St. Maries Lumberjacks at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Wednesday, Orofino made easy work of Timberline and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Maniacs.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-15.
Orofino's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kennedy Coleman, who had 15 digs and four aces. That's the most aces Coleman has posted in her last four matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Sierra Tondevold, who had 15 digs.
Meanwhile, St. Maries earned a 3-1 victory over Genesis Prep Academy on Wednesday.
