Basketball Recap: Southeastern Takes a Loss

Southeastern suffered their closest defeat since February 15, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the University Prep Art & Design Mustangs by a score of 37-35. If the Jungaleers were looking for revenge after losing 42-36 to them when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Southeastern and nudges their season record down to 6-16. As for University Prep Art & Design, their win bumped their record up to 4-16.

Southeastern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for University Prep Art & Design, they will take on Denby in a tournament on Friday. One thing working in Denby's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matchups.
