Baseball Recap: Coral Springs Falls Short of Deerfield Beach in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Coral Springs can now relate to. They fell just short of the Deerfield Beach Bucks by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Colts were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bucks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Coral Springs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Krugman, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Coral Springs has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season. As for Deerfield Beach, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

Coral Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Deerfield Beach, they will take on West Boca Raton at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
