Preview: Harrison vs. Alma
Alma (4-3) and Harrison (5-2) are set to face off this Friday at 7:00 PM. Harrison will need to watch out since Alma has posted big point totals in its previous four matchups.
Alma was able to grind out a solid victory over Clarksville last week, winning 49 - 35. Junior Coltin Bowerman was a defensive powerhouse in the triumph and ended up with 21 total tackles.
As for Harrison, it can no longer brag about a perfect record at home. It received a tough blow as it fell 33 - 16 to Greenbrier. The result came about despite the 6th straight game that Gabe Huskey put up 100+ rushing yards. Huskey has also now scored at least one touchdown in the past seven consecutive games.
The last time they met, Alma was the 47 - 14 victor. It was able to move the ball a lot more (464 yards compared to 208 yards), a gap Harrison will be looking to close this time around. Will Alma come out on top again? We'll soon find out.
