Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Landry Mcrae and Campbell Sheffield Lead Allen to Victory

Allen won the last time they faced McKinney Boyd and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles blew past the Broncos 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-21.

Allen was led to victory by Campbell Sheffield and Landry McRae. Sheffield had 12 digs and one assist, while McRae had three digs and three aces. McRae is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Allen's victory bumped their record up to 27-5. As for McKinney Boyd, they dropped their record down to 9-13 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Allen will face off against rival Plano East at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, McKinney Boyd is set to challenge their familiar foe Princeton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
