Soccer Recap: O'fallon's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Eight

O'Fallon had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Minooka Indians on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Considering O'Fallon have won 17 contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Claire Nieroda and Allie Tredway scored all three of O'Fallon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 44 goals.

The win was the eighth in a row for O'Fallon, bringing their record up to 20-1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those eight matchups. As for Minooka, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7-2.

Looking ahead, O'Fallon will square off against Lincoln-Way East at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln-Way East will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something O'Fallon surely won't give up without a fight. Minooka does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
