Baseball Recap: Antonian Prep Takes a Loss

Antonian Prep was the 4-3 winner over Brennan when they last played one another last Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Antonian Prep Apaches fell just short of the Brennan Bears by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Apaches' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Joseph Carreon was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Antonian Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Brennan, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Antonian Prep will venture away from home to take on St. Michael's at 5:30 p.m. on March 18th. As for Brennan, they are taking a road trip to challenge John F. Kennedy at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brennan is facing John F. Kennedy at the right time seeing as John F. Kennedy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
