Buchanan strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Foothill Falcons by a score of 2-0. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Buchanan was led to victory by Rylie Ramirez and Penny Garcia. Ramirez had eight digs and five assists, while Garcia had nine assists and four digs. Those nine assists gave Garcia a new career-high.

Buchanan's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Foothill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Buchanan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Shadow Ridge on the 16th. As for Foothill, they will square off against Sierra Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
