Basketball Recap: Continental Takes a Loss

Continental lost against Miller City back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Continental Pirates took a blow against the Miller City Wildcats, falling 70-39. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 752nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 202nd).

Continental's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Miller City, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6.

Continental does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miller City, they will square off against Ottoville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Miller City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Ottoville likes a good challenge.
