Hamilton Posts Huge Game in 49-33 Loss

Starting off the list is Fairfield's Jumaria Hamilton, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Hamilton threw for 277 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown.

With the loss, Fairfield broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2. Hamilton and Fairfield will host Bibb County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Collin Moore Turns in Season-Best Effort

Pleasant Grove was led to victory by Collin Moore, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Moore's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 56 yards.

The win (which was Pleasant Grove's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Moore and Pleasant Grove will face off against West Blocton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jeffrey Duncan Makes It Two for Fairfield

Another Fairfield player making an appearance on this list is Jeffrey Duncan. He picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown.

This year, Duncan has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 59.4 receiving yards per game.

Freeman Came Up Big in Pleasant Grove's 51-6 Victory

Pleasant Grove picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Kaleb Freeman. Holt had no answer to Freeman as he threw for 189 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes.

On the season, Freeman has thrown 18 touchdowns (and and only 2 picks) while averaging 207.4 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 42.27 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 135.61 passer rating.

Justin Murray Delivers Electric Performance Vs West Blocton

Another Fairfield player making an appearance on this list is Justin Murray. He rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 65 receiving yards. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 50 yards.

For the season, Murray has averaged 24.4 receiving yards per game.
