 In what's become a running theme this season, South Fremont gave their fans yet another huge  win on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  17-10 margin over the Sugar-Salem Diggers. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for South Fremont as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.
 South Fremont got a  massive  performance out of  Chantea LeCheminant, who  fired off two  home runs, three  runs,  and four  RBI while going 3-for-5. LeCheminant has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  home run the last four times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Leah Lehmann, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 4-for-5.
 On Sugar-Salem's side,  Kenadee Birch made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and two  runs.  Brynlyn Crofoot was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Even though they lost, Sugar-Salem  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 11  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Fremont only tossed three.
 South Fremont's win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 10-11. As for Sugar-Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: they beat South Fremont by a score of  26-24.
