Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Saranac Lake). They walked away with a 15-10 win over the Northern Adirondack Bobcats on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 on Monday.

The victory made it two in a row for Saranac Lake and bumps their season record up to 3-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Northern Adirondack, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Saranac Lake and Northern Adirondack could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Red Storm (ranked 478th) will meet Peru (ranked 25th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Northern Adirondack will take on Saranac at 4:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (658 vs. 40).
