Softball Recap: Patterson Wins Going Away Against Beyer

Patterson barely beat Beyer the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Patterson Tigers blew past the Beyer Patriots 14-3 on Saturday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by seven runs or more this season.

Grace Cruthis was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Janelle Alvarez was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Patterson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Patterson now has a winning record of 5-4-2. As for Beyer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Patterson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-10 win against Orestimba on the 4th. As for Beyer, they have also already played their next match, a 17-1 victory against Sierra on the 4th.
