Recap: Pocomoke Warriors vs. Parkside Rams
On Friday, the Pocomoke Warriors's game was all tied up 27-27 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 62-49 win over Parkside. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pocomoke.
Pocomoke was led to victory by Michael Ames and Jamir Roberts. Ames scored 17 points, while Roberts scored 21 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Demontae Mills Jr., who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Pocomoke's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.6 points per game. As for Parkside, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Pocomoke will head out on the road to face off against Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Parkside won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Wicomico at 11:30 a.m. on December 9th.
