It was a good run, but Chichester unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Springfield Cougars. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 312th, while the Cougars are ranked 121st).

Chichester now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Springfield, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Chichester and Garnet Valley will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Springfield, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Interboro at 1:30 p.m. on December 30th.
