North Tahoe skates past Silver Stage with ease

The North Tahoe Lakers can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They really took it to Silver Stage for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-36 victory on the road. With that win, North Tahoe brought their scoring average up to 50.2 points per game.

Leading North Tahoe to victory were Cormac Springsteel and Gavin Green. Springsteel scored 14 points along with seven rebounds, while Green scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Anders Koijan, who scored eight points along with three steals.

North Tahoe's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Silver Stage, they bumped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

North Tahoe will take on Sierra Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Sierra Lutheran is ranked 97th in Nevada, while North Tahoe is ranked 90th in California). As for Silver Stage, they will head out on the road to challenge Incline at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Incline will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
