Roosevelt had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-6 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Firestone Falcons. That's more bragging rights for the Rough Riders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Owen Puhalla looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
On the hitting side, Brian Dugan was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Ryan Sanders was another key player, earning one RBI, one run, and one stolen base.
