Softball Recap: Johansen Comes Up Short

Johansen lost against Central Valley back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Johansen lost 14-2 to Central Valley. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Johansen saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was California Weed, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Johansen's record is now 1-6. As for Central Valley, their record now sits at 8-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Johansen will face off against rival Livingston at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Central Valley is set to take on their familiar foe Lathrop at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Central Valley 4, Lathrop 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
