Baseball Recap: White Knoll Takes a Loss

White Knoll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lexington Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Timberwolves couldn't push the score so high this time.

Chance Culley was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

White Knoll's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6-1 record this season.

While White Knoll had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
