Goochland is a perfect 6-0 against Louisa County since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will head out to take on the Lions at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Goochland and ten for Louisa County.

Goochland fell victim to Albemarle and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Goochland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 185th, while Albemarle are ranked 42nd).

Meanwhile, Louisa County also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 8-0 to Albemarle on Thursday.

Goochland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Louisa County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Goochland took their win against Louisa County in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
