Recap: Hayden Tigers vs. Heritage Christian Eagles
The Hayden Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 62-33 loss at the hands of Heritage Christian.
Hayden lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cale Howard, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Drew, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Hayden has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Heritage Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Hayden and Prospect Ridge Academy will face off at 1:30 p.m. on December 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Prospect Ridge Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Heritage Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dayspring Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2024. Dayspring Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 213th, while Heritage Christian is ranked 98th).
