Football Game Preview: Socastee Braves vs. Lugoff-Elgin Demons

The Socastee Braves will take on the Lugoff-Elgin Demons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Socastee is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since September 25, 2024 on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 22-21 win over St. James. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lugoff-Elgin, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in October. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over Spring Valley two weeks ago. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Demons were the better team in the second half.
