Softball Recap: McCamey Takes a Loss

McCamey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 21-5 to the Reagan County Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-3 back in February.

Arissa Moss was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Alexis James, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

McCamey's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Reagan County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

While McCamey had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th.
