Colten Scott turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than seven strikeouts on Monday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over 4.2 innings pitched. He was up against Ridgemont and has quite the history against that squad, as he also had a great game the last time he faced them back in April of 2025. Scott also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Perry is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-4 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Scott and Perry will square off against Temple Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Commodores are a perfect 9-0 against the Pioneers going back to April of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
