Eunice's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They blew past the Mescalero Apache Chiefs 3-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cardinals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

While Eunice won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24, 25-10.

Eunice's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Mescalero Apache, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Looking ahead, Eunice will venture away from home to square off against Dexter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mescalero Apache, they will challenge Alamo Navajo at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
