Softball Recap: Framingham Takes a Loss

Framingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-7 to the Weymouth Wildcats. The Flyers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Framingham got a big performance out of Giovanna (Gigi) Salvati, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Nestor, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Framingham's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Weymouth, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Framingham will face off against Algonquin Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Weymouth, they will head out to challenge Sandwich at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
