Baseball Recap: Warner Eagles vs. McLoud Redskins        
        
		
            
 Warner entered their tilt with McLoud with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the McLoud Redskins by a score of  6-1  on Friday.
  Jace Jackson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned run off   seven  hits (and only one walk). Jackson was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 In other batting news, Warner let  Kaleb Spradlin and  Jaxon Cash loose on the outfield. Spradlin  scored a  run while going 2-for-3, while  Cash  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Colton Swimmer, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-4.
 On McLoud's side, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Geronimo Hastings, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases. Hastings has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 Warner's victory bumped their record up to 10-11. As for McLoud, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost five of their last six matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record  this season.
 Coincidentally,  both teams will both be playing Kellyville the next time they take the field. McLoud will head out to face Kellyville at 6:15  p.m.  on Friday, while Warner will play them later in the day, at 4:00  p.m.
