Basketball Game Preview: Blue Ridge Tigers vs. Gunter Tigers

Blue Ridge is 2-8 against Gunter since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Blue Ridge Tigers will head out to square off against the Gunter Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

It was a proper cat-fight when Blue Ridge challenged Pottsboro on Friday. Blue Ridge came up short against Pottsboro, falling 69-43. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Meanwhile, Gunter suffered their closest loss since February 13, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of Bells by a score of 45-42.

Gunter's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Blue Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Blue Ridge came up short against Gunter when the teams last played back in January, falling 47-43. Can Blue Ridge avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
