Waterford-Halfmoon was the 11-2 winner over Loudonville Christian when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fordians took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Saturday. The Fordians' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Jason Fraim was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Nick Bailey was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

Waterford-Halfmoon's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Loudonville Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season.
