Basketball Recap: Sedgwick Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Sedgwick challenged Central Christian Academy on Tuesday. The Sedgwick Cardinals received a blow as they fell 59-44 to the Central Christian Academy Lions. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Sedgwick's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Central Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sedgwick will take on Medicine Lodge on Tuesday. As for Central Christian Academy, they will square off against Pretty Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
