Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washburn). They claimed a resounding 66-19 win over the Roosevelt Teddies. For the Millers, this counts as revenge for the 62-47 victory the Teddies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

The win was the third in a row for Washburn, bringing their record for this year to 7-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Roosevelt, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washburn will welcome Camden/Minneapolis North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden/Minneapolis North knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Washburn likes a good challenge. As for Roosevelt, they will be playing at home against Columbia Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
