Basketball Game Preview: Del Oro Suns vs. Golden Valley Bulldogs

The Del Oro Suns will challenge the Golden Valley Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Del Oro will be strutting in after a win while Golden Valley will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Del Oro turned things around against Kennedy on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thunderbirds, sneaking past 61-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Suns have posted since December 9, 2023.

Meanwhile, Golden Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were dealt a 72-30 loss at the hands of Highland.

Golden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Del Oro, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Del Oro came up short against Golden Valley in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 60-54. Can Del Oro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
