Volleyball Recap: Cedar Springs Red Hawks vs. Belding Black Knights
After losing to Belding the last time they met, Cedar Springs decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Red Hawks won by a set and slipped past the Black Knights 2-1.
Taylor Gunderson paced Cedar Springs' offense, picking up ten kills. Gunderson got some help from Jessie Teesdale and her 21 assists. Teesdale was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.
Cedar Springs' win bumped their record up to 2-0-2.
Cedar Springs has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Fulton on the 23rd. As for Belding, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Greenville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
