Basketball Recap: Creswell's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak at Home

Creswell entered their game against Harrisburg on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Creswell Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 45-44 to the Harrisburg Eagles. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Creswell's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-6. As for Harrisburg, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Creswell has already played their next matchup (against Elmira), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Harrisburg Eagles duke it out with the La Pine Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harrisburg is facing La Pine at the right time seeing as La Pine is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
