Softball Recap: Mauldin Comes Up Short

After flying high against J.L. Mann last Tuesday, Mauldin came back down to earth. The Mavericks came up short against the Wade Hampton Generals on Wednesday, falling 12-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Mavericks in their meetings with the Generals: they've now lost four in a row.

Mauldin's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Wade Hampton, the win got them back to even at 7-7.

Coming up, Mauldin will host Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wade Hampton, they will face off against Laurens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
