Basketball Recap: Mortimer Jordan Takes a Loss

Mortimer Jordan won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Tuesday. They were dealt a 74-42 defeat at the hands of the Cullman Bearcats. The match marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Mortimer Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Cullman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mortimer Jordan will challenge Albertville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cullman, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cullman Bearcats face off against the Hartselle Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on January 14th.
