Forbush is a perfect 10-0 against East Surry since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Forbush will be strutting in after a win while East Surry will be coming in after a loss.

Forbush's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Forsyth Home Educators by a score of 2-0. That's two games straight that Forbush have won by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, East Surry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Mount Airy, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, East Surry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 475th, while Mount Airy are ranked 163rd).

Forbush pushed their record up to 12-5-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those six contests. As for East Surry, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11-3.

Forbush took their victory against East Surry in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 9-0 score. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
