Soccer Game Preview: Valencia vs. Hart

The Valencia Vikings will square off against the Hart Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Valencia is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Quartz Hill onto the board and left with a 4-0 win on Monday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Vikings with their most commanding win of the season.

They hit Quartz Hill with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ciro Karapetyan, Nicholas Hovsepian, Lukas Kramer, and Andres Alonzo.

Meanwhile, Hart came tearing into Tuesday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2 goals) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Cowboys as they made off with a 4-1 victory. Considering the Hawks have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hart's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three contests. As for Valencia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3-1.
