Cardinal Spellman had won two straight home games and Lily Carey did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Cardinals walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Archbishop Williams Bishops with plenty of help from Carey, who had 12 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Cardinal Spellman was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 24-26, 25-15, 25-23.

Cardinal Spellman's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Archbishop Williams, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cardinal Spellman will take on rival St. Mary's at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Archbishop Williams is set to challenge their familiar foe Bishop Fenwick at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
