Football Recap: Warren Woods-Tower Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Saturday just wasn't the day for Warren Woods-Tower's offense. They were dealt a 61-0 defeat at the hands of the Fitzgerald Spartans on Saturday. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Devon Billings was his usual excellent self, rushing for 208 yards while picking up 9.9 yards per carry for Fitzgerald. Billings' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 156 rushing yards.

Warren Woods-Tower's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fitzgerald, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warren Woods-Tower will venture away from home to square off against Marysville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fitzgerald, they will head out to face off against Grosse Pointe North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
