Softball Recap: Big Bear Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Big Bear was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights, falling 11-1. The contest marked the Bears' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jordan Gilligan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Big Bear is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5. As for Academy for Academic Excellence, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6-1.
