Castle Park is 7-1 against High Tech CV since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Trojans will host the Bruins at 4:00 p.m.

Castle Park came up short against Kearny on Monday, falling 9-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask High Tech CV). Everything went their way against El Cajon Valley back in March as they made off with a 17-2 victory. The Bruins have beaten the Braves the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Braves has come to flipping the script.

Dyllin Ledezma was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. That double marked the first that he hit this season.

In other batting news, Daniel Cardoso was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in April of 2024. Andre Skiles was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

High Tech CV always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as El Cajon Valley only posted an OBP of .273.

Castle Park's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for High Tech CV, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

Castle Park was able to grind out a solid victory over High Tech CV in their previous meeting back in March, winning 5-2. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bruins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
