Baseball Recap: Christoval's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Christoval came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Eldorado Eagles. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 20-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Ryler Hunt was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Blaze Webber, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5.

Christoval's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Eldorado, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christoval will take on Miles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eldorado, they will venture away from home to square off against Sonora at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.82 runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
