Ziion Osborne Earns League's Top Spot
 Starting off the list is Ramapo's  Ziion Osborne, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Osborne rushed for 131 yards and three touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  picking up  a  sack and making eight total tackles.
 Ramapo's win  ended  a  six-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-3. Osborne and Ramapo will head out to  square off against Yonkers Force [Gorton/Roosevelt/Yonkers Montessori Academy/Yonkers]  at 1:30  p.m.  on Saturday.

Davonte Brown Makes It Two for Ramapo
 Keeping Osborne company is  Davonte Brown, a fellow Ramapo player. He rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also picked up 49 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 55 yards.
 For the season,  Brown  has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 24.6 receiving yards per game.

Middlebrook Made His Presence Known in Mount Vernon's  6-0 Loss
 While Mount Vernon might've come up empty  on Thursday,  Jerrell Middlebrook wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop  Middlebrook as he made 17 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
 With the  loss, Mount Vernon broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3. Middlebrook and Mount Vernon will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ketcham at 7:00  p.m.  on October 25th.
